New Braunfels Glassblowing started in April 2023. We are a home based, small business here to provide the public with the knowledge and education in art of glassblowing. We host by appointment only. Run by Michael Edward Pinedo Jr. who has been working with the material for 19 years. Learning the craft in north county San Diego, California, Michael began exploring and experimenting with glassblowing. His greatest influence coming from the Venetian glassmakers. The shapes and intricate pieces caught his interest and eye for design. After working in and out of a variety of studios,
creating his own line of work, he decided to open up NBG and bring the craft to the people in the south Texas region. He focuses on unique hands on glass experiences, for people to come and make their own glass with his help, courses in glassblowing, to teach all those that would be interested in learning the craft, as well as hosting corporate events, and private lessons. He strongly encourages everyone to come work with this amazing material, in hopes that others may start their own journey in glass art. Come give us a visit and see what glassblowing is all about.
