About Us:
Hello,
New Braunfels Glassblowing started in April 2023. We are a home based, small business here to provide the public with the knowledge and education in art of glassblowing. We host by appointment only. Run by Michael Edward Pinedo Jr. who has been working with the material for the past 22 years. He learned glassblowing through a 2yr program by an Artist named Gary Cohen in 2004 at Palomar Community College in San Diego, California. After gaining this skill, but more important, this love for glass, he continued his journey as an independent artist, taking his work to art shows, galleries, and spreading his love for glass along the way.
New Braunfels Glassblowing was created to give people an opportunity to either try out glassblowing through our experiences or to take on going classes to learn how to become a glassblower. There's not many places where this is being done and even less people who have the knowledge and skill to pass it on. We strive to show all our customers a fun and exciting time with hot glass. If you've ever being curious about glassblowing, there's no better time then now to come check us out and see what this amazing material is all about. You just might be blown away..
