Service Description

In this 8 week course, you will learn the basics of glassblowing. Learning things such as: Gathering hot glass, how to control and heat the glass, shaping techniques, use of various hand tools, and color application techniques. You will learn through one on one instruction and observing other students working with the material. Glassblowing is a visual learning craft. You will learn just as much by observing, then working with the medium. You will get a full hands on experience. Beginning with making solid glass items to understand how the glass moves and behaves, then blowing glass to make small blown items. Our goal is to work side by side with you, then slowly pulling away giving you less instruction and you being able to blow glass on your own. We understand that everyone learns and operates at different rates and so we will do this on a case by case basis. Come and begin your journey in the ancient craft of glassblowing.
